charged with fraud
(24.08.2005)
The mother of the teenage boy, who Michael Jackson was accused
of sexually molesting, has been charged with welfare fraud.
The Los Angeles County Superior Court have accused the woman of
fraudulently obtaining nearly $18,800 in welfare payments between
November 2001 and March 2003.
Michael
Jackson was found not guilty on all charges, after a court case that
lasted many weeks and attracted a great deal of media attention.
The charges brought against Michael Jackson's accusers mother
(if she is found guilty) will add support to the belief that her motives
in the Jackson case were for financial gain.
The mother's arraignment was set for the 7th of September.
