Anti-Islamic cartoons published
to gain support for attack on Iran
The Jyllands-Posten claimed to be "exercising free speech" when asked why they published the cartoons and one could respect this more if they truly did apply this rule to all areas. But this is not the case, Flemming Rose, the cultural editor of JP said "he would not publish a cartoon of Israel's Ariel Sharon strangling a Palestinian baby, since that could be construed as 'racist.'" It is also true that Newspapers in most of Europe are not allowed to publish material that may be considered offensive to Jews, or question the Holocaust. Obviously, this "Free Speech" does not apply to Jews who wish to make fun of Islam, or any other religion (as long as it is not their own). Many who have chosen to ignore this Jewish protection rule have either been thrown in jail, or had pressure placed on their publications (sometimes receiving threats). The response from Islamic protestors has been surprisingly fast and well coordinated. One website mentioned how strange it was that they could find so many Danish flags in such a short time! The Bush administration (and their supporters) know that Muslim's are like a firework waiting to be ignited and with the problems between Israel and Palestine (and Syria), the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, is this any surprise? Add to this the constant warnings from some Jewish leaders about how "dangerous" Muslim's are to Europe's future and you have an Islamic community who feel the rest of the world wants to eliminate them! However, despite this enourmous pressure, Muslim's in general have responded well, but we suspect that a few "insiders" have been responsible for helping to encourage others to protest in a more violent way. It is not difficult to make people angry, the 9/11 "attack" created the same reaction in the US. Getting some Muslim's angry enough to attack foreign embassies and riot in the streets is exactly what the Bush administration wanted and this is one mission that they have "accomplished". The vision of Muslim's protesting and being "violent" on the TV screens across Europe and the US is designed to support the idea that these people are always like this, making the world think that they are all terrorists, or capable of being terrorists at any moment. This attempt to stir up Islamic hatred is just another step (of many) that has been used to gain sympathy and support for an attack on Iran shortly, so that when a few more thousand Muslim's get killed, Bush will hope that most will probably say to themselves "Well, they deserved it!" Bush will make speeches about how he hoped this military action could have been avoided (same as Iraq), whilst trying to conceal his famous smirk, knowing that he has tricked the easily fooled public yet again. In one report, Vladimir Zhirinovsky (a controversial and well known Russian politician) stated that an attack on Iran will take place on the 28th of March and believes that the Muslim riots were orchestrated by the US to garner European backing for the military strike.
Hopefully, if we all continue highlighting the thoughts and wishes of the Bush administration, we can continue avoiding this attack even longer. Maybe someone will find a way of removing these "terrorists" from the US government before we run out of time? Do you have a comment to make on this article or other topics?
