Reverse Speech or backward thinking?

"Reverse Speech" is something that has been getting a few mentions recently on a number of "alternative" websites and concerns messages that are found when a recording of a normal convesation is played in reverse.

We recently spent a few hours listening to some reverse speech recordings made by Peggy Kane. Peggy, it would seem, spends endless hours listening to recordings in reverse, looking for words and sentences that reveal the truth about what the person is really saying.

Peggy is not the only person who believes in "Reverse Speech" and admits that three different people listening to the same recording, could get three different messages! (And this has in fact happened).

From the recordings we listened to, we were told that some of the high level officials in America (maybe the world) are actually lizard type aliens, who eat humans!

She explained that some of the recordings may sound like gibberish, and we have to agree with her on that one.

Is there any truth to this? Do you see any pigs flying around?

We find it very disappointing that there are many sites trying to bring some respectability to UFO sightings (including ours), and all this hard work can end up down the toilet, because someone has this strange idea that there are secret messages to be found in conversations played in reverse.

But perhaps the most worrying part is that quite a few believe it and actually promote it on their websites. What are they thinking? Are they so desperate for News that they need to promote this sort of stuff?

Reverse Speech works on the same principal as the Bible Codes, if you have some idea in your head of what it is you are looking for, there is a very good chance you will find it.

We are pretty certain that if you wanted to hear a message about Britney Spears (for example), you could almost guarantee that if you listened to anyone's conversation in reverse (for an hour or so), you would find what you are looking for (try it if you don't believe us). Our cat was on heat recently and sounded like she was saying the word "Allah", are we to believe that she was praying, or was the sound she was making just a coincidence (we were going to add some music from the "twilight zone" at this point, but didn't).
