UFO formation seen over Washington D. C. October 26

Many UFO sightings can often be somewhat vague when being reported, but this following UFO report is one of the exceptions, but this is perhaps because the sighting was made by an experienced aviator.

The report was sent in by UFO Casebook and we are just going to use a few extracts. A link to the full report can be found below.

The sighting was made by "KS" as he was driving in his truck along the "outer loop" of the Washington, D.C. Beltway (I-495) heading towards I-95 south.

His attention was drawn towards the lighting of a helicopter, but more to "two white lights that were too far away from the helicopter to be attached to it but seemed to be keeping pace with it." KS continued "The helicopter was moving towards the highway ahead of me at an altitude of about 1000 feet or so, and the two lights remained in perfect formation with it."

As the lights crossed the highway "I was able to discern that the two white lights were not part of an aircraft or the helo, but instead seemed to be just "floating" in the sky next to the helo in perfect formation."

It is odd how helicopters seem to becoming more involved in UFO sightings lately, almost as if they are escorting "UFOs" in some way?
