Countdown to Global Destruction - Is it time for the jokes to stop?

Predictions of Global Destruction have long been the target of comedians and the public alike, dismissing the possibility as just some wild fantasy created in the mind of some crackpot who has managed to avoid the "protection" of a lunatic asylum. Whilst the timing of the predictions may not always be accurate, the event itself certainly is!

Humans, for some strange reason, have this belief that our planet is a safe and stable place to live. Unfortunately, this is not the case at all. Many of the events in our planets history occur on a fairly regular basis and whilst hundreds of thousands of years may not seem "regular" to the average person, it is when you look at the big picture.

You have to remember that our planet has been around quite a long time and although many of the major catastrophic events can not be dated that accurately (or their return predicted any more clearly), there is no doubt at all that this will happen.

The planet we consider as almost indestructible, is much more fragile than many imagine. We are constantly at risk from Asteroids and other events from the depth of space, but we are also living on a potentially explosive rock.

We all know about earthquakes and volcanoes and how destructive they can be, but few know about the super volcanoes that exist all over the planet. These are not like any volcano you have ever seen before and are powerful enough to wipe out all life on the planet.

Let's take a closer look at the super volcano sitting underneath Yellowstone National Park. Some are comforted by the knowledge that this has not erupted for 640,000 years and whilst this is a very long time, it may worry you to know that it has a history of erupting once every 600,000 years (on average). This means that a new eruption could happen at any time and it is already 40,000 years overdue.

The planets most recent super volcano eruption was at Toba 74,000 years ago, producing a caldera 18 x 60 miles in size. Many believe that this almost made mankind extinct, reducing the number of humans on the planet to just a few thousand.

Another event that has happened before is a Galactic Superwave, this can be compared to a "cosmic" super volcano, only much more powerful. This too is overdue and produces a destructive wave that travels at close to the speed of light. Recent reports seem to indicate that we may already be seeing the early effects of the Galactic Superwave and this is the reason for the climatic changes on our planet and those in our solar system (which are all experiencing an increase in temperatures). Even our Sun is being affected by this event.

There is perhaps no doubt that we are going to witness a major event in our planets history very soon and the question is when, not if. James Finn believes that this could be in March of this year and he has been following this for many years now. James has recently updated his site with more information on this subject and frequently publishes "information drops" and "dreams" that others have had about future events.

His latest update includes 2 seperate reports where people have had the following visions:

"She woke up one morning recently with the words April 9th ringing in her ears. Has since seen Yellowstone blow and puts the two together."

"The month of March will be a special danger time. In April Yellowstone might blow - this he likened to 40+ atomic bombs going off... with massive contamination, air pollution, etc."

We recently wrote an article about "Chemtrails" and our belief that this is an attempt to deflect the harmful effects currently occuring in our solar system. Unfortunately, this can only reduce the potential problem (at best) and will do nothing to stop the full force of a Galactic Superwave.

Some, it would seem, are preparing for the worst and making plans for the future: 'Doomsday vault' to house world's seeds. Norway is to build a "doomsday vault" in a mountain close to the North Pole that will house a vast seed bank to ensure food supplies in the event of catastrophic climate change, nuclear war or rising sea levels, New Scientist says.

You may decide that this is another one of those "crackpot" stories some find so amusing, or you may accept that something "real" and "serious" is taking place and join us in exploring the possibilities. Assuming life on this planet will never change would be a mistake, that sort of thinking would be crazy!
