UFO sightings and news from around the web

Today we shall be looking at a number of UFO sightings and other topics related to this subject.

Our first report is of a UFO squadron seen over Lloydminster (Canada). It was around midnight when the witness noticed a "flashing object" in the clear sky. The object moved "very fast across the sky" and "turned at rather odd and amazing angles".

"Then more of these flashing objects moved in", which looked the same as the first one. The witness is not sure what the objects were but thought it could be "part of a U.S. military spy training in Canada"

We also found an interesting sighting on the UFO Casebook site which was sent in by one of their moderators. The object appeared as the person was taking photographs of the sunset. You can see the report here. Our first thought, when we saw the photo, was that perhaps the object was "Venus", which is currently appearing in the western skies shortly after sunset (just above the horizon). However, the object looks almost like an eyeball. Check out the link and see for yourself.

A few days ago we published an article relating to something called "Reverse Speech". Some people believe that there are messages to be found when a recording is played in reverse. Unfortunately, the "messages" they find are just sounds that seem like words and sentences (and even the ones they find are difficult to understand).

Now, we don't mind people believing in whatever they want to believe, but when they start making wild claims from their "findings" that can not be proven, we start to worry.

As you will see from our article "Reverse Speech or backward thinking?", the claims they are making really are "wild".

Basically, the person we have highlighted, believes that many of the top political figure are actually "lizard aliens" and that they will be shortly trying to leave our planet and taking a few humans with them, as snacks for their long journey!

There is absolutely no evidence to back this up, yet some people have taken it seriously. You will also find another link on the article to a page written by James Finn that covers this in a little more detail, including a mention of the Bible Codes (which work on much the same principle as reverse speech). One women did a Bible Code search on herself and managed to find a connection between herself and David. But this may not be surprising because she claims to have conversations with God! (You can see the problem we are up against)

Sadly, reports such as the one mentioned in our other article, are what make it difficult for the more serious sites to get people to believe in UFO sightings, and simply make us all look like fools in the eyes of those we are trying to convince.

Unfortunately, not all UFO photos are of Alien crafts (that's why they are called UFO's), but there is no doubt in our mind that a good percentage of the sightings are genuine and we try to highlight the best we can find in our own reports. However, reverse speech and human eating alien lizards should be restricted to an episode from the sci-fi serial"V". At least until they can prove their theories with some hard evidence!
